How Ko-fi fees work
On the Standard plan Ko-fi charges a 5% service fee on shop sales, memberships and commissions, with no monthly fee. Ko-fi Gold costs $12 a month and drops the service fee to 0%.
Payments go to your own Stripe or PayPal account, which charge processing on top: with Stripe 2.9% + $0.30, plus 1.5% for cards from outside the US. On a $20 product on Standard you keep $18.12.
Gold saves 5% of every sale, so it pays for itself above $240 of sales a month: 13 sales at $20.
