How Gumroad fees work
On sales through your own Gumroad link or profile, Gumroad charges 10% of the price plus $0.50 per sale. Card processing comes on top: 2.9% + $0.30. On a $20 product that is $2.50 to Gumroad and $0.88 to processing, so you keep $16.62.
Sales that come through Gumroad Discover, its marketplace, pay a flat 30% instead, with processing included. Pick "Discover marketplace sales" under Plans to see that case.
There is no monthly fee. Once your paid sales pass $20,000 in a calendar month, further direct sales that month drop to 5% + $0.50; use "Advanced: edit fee %" to try that rate.
Gumroad collects sales tax for you as the merchant of record, and charges its fee on that tax too. This calculator leaves tax out, so treat the result as a close estimate.
