How Etsy fees work
Each sale of a digital download on Etsy costs three fees. The $0.20 listing fee renews automatically when the item sells. The transaction fee is 6.5% of the price. Etsy Payments processing for US sellers is 3% + $0.25.
On a $20 printable that is $1.30 + $0.20 + $0.85 = $2.35, so you keep $17.65. Digital items have no shipping, so there is no transaction fee on shipping.
Offsite Ads are the big variable: if a sale comes from one of Etsy's ads on other sites, Etsy charges 15% (12% for shops over $10,000 a year), capped at $100. That isn't included here; use "Advanced: edit fee %" to add it to the transaction fee for a worst case.
Etsy Plus ($10 a month) adds listing credits and ad credits but no lower fees, so it isn't modelled as a plan.
